I am finding it very disturbing/sad to read about the setbacks that happened to Florry. Especially leaving behind the child and pets she came to love....also being so close to starvation so many times. Such a different life than we lead. I guess you don't miss what you have never known!

I highly recommend this resource for those who are interested in a further study of Mrs. Rawlings and her motivations leading to the production of her works of literature.
